Gluten free right in our own back yard!

It's true it's true!! Gluten Free CRUMBED Calamari in our own town. Fibbers on Church was the scene this afternoon of my latest culinary delight. Crumbed Calamari....fresh. How wonderful to find a local high profile eatery catering to food intolerance's. But not only just catering....there where plenty of GF options on the menu for me to choose from...CHOICE! Keep up the good work Fibbers, I'll definitely be back.

Making a difference in your own little world!

You can't please all the people all the time. When I find the world alittle too taxing I read a quote like this....

"An old man walked up a shore littered with thousands of starfish, beached & dying after a storm. A young man was picking them up & flinging them back into the ocean. "Why do you bother?" the old man scoffed. "You're not saving enough to make a difference." The young man picked up another starfish & sent it spinning back into the water. Review of Grill'd Toowoomba

Grill'd is the latest fast food/cafe to dip a toe into the Gluten Free pond. Great music pumping through the sound system gives the restaurant a lively vibe, and on a busy Saturday night in Toowoomba, it offers the Gluten Intolerant a golden ticket.....choice!

I had the wonderful gluten free chips lightly seasoned with rosemary, with tomato relish. Hot, crisp and defiantly more-ish!

The Crispy bacon & cheese burger was quiet a mouthful! What a taste sensation! Great work guys.

The range of burgers are extensive and the prices around the $10 - $14 range.

What are you paying for?? FRESHNESS! QUALITY! AND HEALTHIER CHOICES!

I'll be going again that's for sure!

I'm Baaaackkk

Well I have neglected the Blog for too long! The shop has been open now for 4 weeks and I've had two days off in the last two months. After long delays and frustrations we opened on the 19th of March.

Still ironing out all the bumps and lumps but very happy so far with the response from our customers!! The highlight of my week was a lady dancing in my shop with pure happiness...now that really makes it all worthwhile!

I am trying out the burger joint in town tonight...Grill'd which offers GF Hamburgers and....wait for it .....wait for it CHIPS!!!! whoo hooo.

My Achilles heel....my arch Nemesis...The Hot Chippie.

Resistance is futile...they over power me with their yummyness...and boy have I paid for it in the past!

But NO LONGER a safe GF alternative is within my grasp...stay tuned!
